RMS President Mike Pritula to speak at the ICMIF Biennial Conference in London this October

Thursday, 14 September 2017

ICMIF is pleased to announce that insurance industry-expert and President of RMS, Mike Pritula, has been added to the line-up of speakers at its upcoming Biennial Conference in London (17-20 October).

Mike leads client service and market development for RMS, advancing the company’s role in delivering value to enable its clients’ strategic success. He joined RMS in March 2017 from McKinsey & Company where he was Senior Partner, with global responsibilities for the development of its insurance practice.

Mike, when at McKinsey, was the keynote speaker at the 2015 ICMIF Biennial Conference held in Minneapolis, where he offered his views on the key strategic challenges facing the cooperative/mutual insurance sector.

In London this year, Mike will act as the moderator for Thursday's sessions which will look at how cooperative and mutual insurers are using technology to redesign their businesses and embed innovation into their organisational structures. He will also provide a closing presentation where he will identify the key learnings from the day, reflecting on the sector’s evolution during the last two years, and the outlook for future.

Almost 300 delegates from mutual and cooperative insurers worldwide (including 50 delegates for ICMIF’s new Young Leaders Programme) have already registered for this premier gathering of the mutual and cooperative insurance industry, click here to view the current delegate list.

The full agenda and speaker line-up for the ICMIF Biennial Conference are also available online. The 2017 Conference theme is Redesigning insurance: far from an abstract proposition, mutual and cooperative insurers understand the need to consider how they can “redesign” what they do, how they do it and the products and services they offer to their members and wider communities.

Values-based insurers help mitigate some of the world’s biggest risks but the cooperative and mutual insurance sector needs to keep innovating in order to survive. The speakers and panels at this year’s ICMIF Biennial Conference 2017 will be an invaluable source of inspiration for delegates on what our sector is already doing in terms of innovation and will also share examples and inspiration on how our members can continue to stay ahead of the competition.

RMS is one of the Bronze sponsors of the ICMIF Conference.
