ICMIF member Länsförsäkringar has been announced as having the top ranking for the insurance industry in the Swedish Sustainable Brand Index™ 2022 results. This is the fifth time the mutual insurer has been in first position in this survey since 2011.
Sustainable Brand Index™ is Europe’s largest independent brand study on sustainability, including over 1,500 brands, 35 industries and nearly 70,000 consumers across eight countries.
On 17 March 2022, the official ranking and results of Sustainable Brand Index™ 2022 in Sweden were announced. The study is based on research among Swedish consumers and shows how brands are perceived in terms of sustainability, both within environmental and social responsibility.
“We are very honoured to have consumers’ trust in our sustainability work. The award shows that our efforts to be a sustainable company and a responsible one social actor gives results,” said Christina Hillesöy, Sustainability Manager at Länsförsäkringar AB.
“Through our injury prevention and health promotion initiatives, sustainability-oriented claims settlement and responsible investment offers, we can be involved and contribute to sustainable development. Through our presence around the country, we also have a unique opportunity to go through community involvement support efforts that make a difference in the local community,” Christina Hillesöy concluded.
About the survey
The Sustainable Brand Index is Europe’s largest study focused on sustainability and has been conducted among consumers since 2011. The study was conducted during December 2021-February 2022 and a total of 70,000 people were surveyed across the Nordic countries, the Netherlands and the Baltics. About 1000 interviews were conducted with people who helped to rank the brand Länsförsäkringar. The questions were about, among other things, environmental responsibility and social responsibility.
