Following the addition of 15 new member organisations in 2021, ICMIF is delighted to announce the further strengthening of its team with three internal promotions and two new appointments this summer, all of which will further increase ICMIF’s ability to service the needs of its growing global membership.
Internal promotions
As of 1 July 2022, Vice President Business Intelligence, Ben Telfer assumes a more strategic role of Senior Vice-President, Membership which sees his mandate expand to include the development of member propositions and marketing and communications.
Membership Manager, Vicky Hughes becomes Vice-President, Membership giving her more of a leadership role on member engagement and member data management
Events Manager, Camille Gigoux has become Vice-President, Events recognising her increasing leadership role in ICMIF’s growing number of face-to-face and virtual events.
New appointments
ICMIF is also delighted to announce a new appointment to its member-facing team. Nadine Anemüller joins ICMIF’s membership team as Vice-President, Membership (Europe) from German mutual insurer, DEVK Versicherungen, bringing with her a wealth of experience, knowledge and contacts from the European mutual insurance industry. While at DEVK, Nadine was Vice Chair of ICMIF’s Intelligence Committee.
ICMIF’s member research function has been strengthened by the addition of Georgina Compton, Member Analyst and Researcher. Georgina will work with ICMIF’s Research Analyst, Nick Dwyer who joined the team last year. Together, they will develop more evidence-based publications and reports to support the validity and importance of the mutual and cooperative insurance model.
Commenting on the new appointments, ICMIF’s Executive Vice-President, Liz Green said: “Last year on average, 70% of our member organisations exceeded their local market’s growth. These organisations are committed to their higher purpose and work tirelessly to create a safer more reliant world.
“It is therefore incumbent on ICMIF to offer the best possible service for these organisations through talented, experienced and purpose-driven individuals. We are delighted to retain, promote and attract such significant talent and look forward to our members meeting the whole ICMIF team at our Centenary Conference in Rome in October this year, if not before”.
