Key benefits of the Conference for leaders
In this short video, Rob Wesseling, ICMIF Chair and President & CEO, Co-operators (Canada) explains how and why the ICMIF Biennial Conference benefits both him and his organisation and how, after each Conference he attends (five so far), he leaves with new knowledge and ideas that will help him to move his company forward, and with connections that ultimately lead to fruitful learnings and further collaboration with other members.
Speaking about the forthcoming Conference, Rob said: “The ICMIF Biennial Conference will be another excellent opportunity for cooperative and mutual leaders from around the world to come together to share, learn, and network.
The theme for this year’s Conference is Collaborating with Purpose, and the agenda will be focused on “three Ps” said Rob Wesseling. “The first is people,” he continued, “the talent and leadership we need to navigate emerging issues and drive competitive growth.
“The second is performance. This is about how we leverage our purpose-built businesses to allow us to achieve our sustainability and financial goals.
“And finally, partnerships. How we can better collaborate at a global scale to help us achieve strategic goals and enhance the resilience of the communities that we serve,” he concluded.
