ICMIF member LB Forsikring, Denmark’s largest member-owned mutual insurance company, has been named the top company for image in the Danish 2024 Financial Image Survey. Conducted by Wilke and Watch Medier, the survey evaluates financial companies in Denmark across nine parameters, including trustworthiness, customer service and sustainability.
LB Forsikring secured first place this year, moving up from its second-place ranking in 2023. This marks the ninth consecutive year the company has ranked in the top three, reinforcing its reputation as a trusted and customer-focused insurer.
“I am truly proud of this achievement,” said Jan Kamp Justesen, Chief Executive, LB Forsikring. “Despite the challenges of rising claims and increased costs, our team has worked tirelessly to maintain a high level of service and innovation. This recognition is a testament to their dedication and commitment to our members,” he concluded.
The survey highlighted LB Forsikring’s strengths, with the company achieving the highest scores in seven of the nine categories, including:
- Good service;
- Trustworthiness; and
- Ability to develop new products and services.
LB Forsikring says it was also recognised as having demonstrated progress in the remaining two categories, compliance with regulations and communication visibility.
Serving over 440,000 members through its three brands – Lærerstandens Brandforsikring, Bauta and Runa – LB Forsikring continues to place its members at the heart of its operations. As a mutual insurer, the company is committed to offering competitive pricing, sustainable practices and innovative solutions tailored to its members’ needs.
This latest accolade follows other notable achievements for LB Forsikring, including “Best in Test” awards for products such as electric car insurance and travel insurance. These awards underline the company’s position as a leader in Denmark’s insurance market.
