Earlier this month it was announced that ICMIF Supporting Member, Aviva Investors, had won three industry awards for the work of its insurance asset management business, which creates and manages outcome-oriented asset management strategies for global insurers. Aviva Investors is the global asset management business of Aviva plc (‘Aviva’) and joined ICMIF in December last year.

The company was awarded ‘Data Science Solution Provider of the Year’ and ‘Investment Team of the Year – Asset Manager’ at the 2020 Insurance Asset Risk Awards ceremony, whilst also being recognised at the 2020 InsuranceERM Awards, winning the ‘Insurance Asset Manager of the Year’ category.

The awards build on Aviva Investors’ success at last year’s Insurance Asset Risk Awards, where it won ‘Alternatives Manager of the Year’ and ‘Investment Team of the Year – Asset Manager’ for its work in structured finance, and ‘Insurance Asset Manager of the Year’ at the 2019 InsuranceERM Awards.
