ICMIF member Dina Försäkringar is Sweden’s fifth largest insurance company and consists of six insurance companies that collaborate with each other, with offices around the country.
Dina Försäkringar has a long tradition, being the oldest non-life insurance company in Sweden. The first local company was formed in 1768 and has developed into the modern group of companies that Dina Försäkringar is today. With a new strategy to reach a higher market share in the coming years Dina Försäkringar continues to deliver high levels of customer satisfaction and maintaining a strong employer brand.
In 2022, colleagues at the service company in Stockholm received the award “Excellent employer” from the Nyckeltalsinstitutet AB, Key Performance Institute for the fifth year in a row. The Institute conducts a quantitative survey of working conditions, work environment and development opportunities each year in Sweden. Employers which achieve the best ten percent results get certified as “Excellent Employers.” The appointments are based on an index generated from the working conditions of 650,000 employees.
Dina Försäkringar was recognised as a “Career Company of the Year 2023” by Karriärföretagen.
Also in November 2022, the mutual insurer won first place in the Non-Life Insurance Private and Non-Life Insurance Companies categories when customers had their say in the Swedish Quality Index (Svensk kvalitetsindex) annual survey on customer satisfaction in non-life insurance. This was the third year in a row that Dina Försäkringar won the private category and the second year in a row that it won the company category. Over the course of the years that Dina Försäkringar has participated in the customer satisfaction survey, it has been in the top three in at least one of the classes.
Speaking in November last year about these recognitions from the Swedish Quality Index, Gunilla Svensson, CEO, said: “We are incredibly happy and honoured to once again receive such good placements in the Swedish Quality Index survey! The awards are a confirmation that our customers appreciate the work we do for them and that our quest to be personal and close is a winning concept. We are very grateful for the trust customers place in us.”
“Our ambition is to give customers a good experience without hassle and with an understanding of each customer’s unique situation, both when the insurance is taken out and when bad luck strikes. The great ratings we get year after year indicate that we manage to deliver this to our customers and it feels absolutely fantastic! It strengthens us in our efforts to be close to customers and thus continue to be a clear alternative to large companies,” said Svensson.
Mostly recently, Dina Försäkringar was awarded the two titles of “Winner Intermediaries’ Choice” and “Winner Administrators’ Choice” by the Swedish Insurance Brokers’ Association.
Liz Green, CEO Designate, ICMIF, visited Gunilla Svensson and members of her team at Dina Försäkringar in June of this year, where she joined in the celebrations for these many successes by the insurer.
