ICMIF member Dina Försäkringar (Sweden) has signed an agreement with healthcare provider Capio to be able to offer advice when customers with sports insurance suffer an injury as a result of their sport activities. Customers have been able to use the advisory service from the beginning of August 2024.

“We have been offering sports insurance as a group solution to various sports federations since 1 May this year,” says AnnaCarin Heller, Partner Manager at Dina Försäkring AB. “The collaboration with Capio is the next natural step and it feels great to not only be able to offer compensation when something happens, but also to be able to help with advice before the injury becomes too serious or for the recovery to go faster.

“Capio is very happy and proud to have been entrusted with the collaboration to start the collaboration. We look forward to developing the service together with Dina Försäkringar and helping athletes return to the desired level of activity,” says Ludvig Dalemar, Business Area Manager Capio Partner.

Dina Försäkringar’s sports insurance contains a few fixed conditions and there are also other possible options which can be adapted to different needs. The insurance policies can be signed for entire federations and the same conditions also apply to all members.

Capio has Sweden’s leading network of sports clinics with a high level of expertise and extensive experience in the care of sports-related injuries in athletes, from local children’s and youth teams to several different national team assignments.
