New research shows that Danish ICMIF members Sygeforsikringen “danmark“ and LB Forsikring are ranked as the top two insurance companies in the country based on their brand image and reputation.
In the annual Finansimage 2020 survey, Sygeforsikringen “danmark” topped the reputation rankings of Danish financial companies for the third year in a row. Sygeforsikringen “danmark“ also topped the rankings of insurance companies in 2020, with LB Forsikring ranked in second place for the third consecutive year.
Since 2015, the Finansimage annual survey, conducted by the analysis company Wilke in collaboration with FinansWatch, is an independent analysis of the reputation of the Denmark’s 69 largest financial companies. The survey is based on responses from more than 5,000 representatively selected Danes, who assess the country’s largest insurers, banks, pension companies, mortgage companies and investment associations on the basis of eight different image parameters.
Out of a reputation score of 100, Sygeforsikring “danmark” scored 87.6 in the 2020 annual survey, followed by LB Forsikring with 84.4; considerably higher than the average score for the insurance industry at 73.8.
“We are very proud that for the third year in a row we have succeeded in taking first place in the financial sector in the overall reputation. We will do everything we can to live up to the members’ expectations,” says Allan Luplau, CEO of Sygeforsikringen “danmark“.
Founded in 1973, Sygeforsikringen “danmark” is a mutual health insurance association with almost 2.6 million members. Its purpose is to provide mutual compensation to members in cases of illness and accident – with a focus on prevention. As a non-profit member-owned association, members of “danmark” help each other when help is needed, as their contributions reduce the financial costs associated with the treatment and prevention of diseases.
