Reinforcing its reputation for quality and affordability across multiple insurance products, ICMIF member LB Forsikring, Denmark’s largest member-owned mutual insurance company, was presented the ‘Best in Test’ award recently by the Danish Consumer Council (Forbrugerrådet Tænk) for its dog insurance insurance cover.

The Consumer Council tested dog insurance with 14 companies and emphasised that LB Forsikring offers good coverage at a low price, distinguishing itself by having a low deductible on the coverage and high customer satisfaction.

“It’s always great to get recognition for the work we do, and the most important thing is that our members can trust that we continuously work to give them a good product. Our goal is to provide good insurance at competitive price, and the test shows that we have succeeded in this. Of course, we are happy about this, and it is very motivating as we further our work,” says Thomas Enna Larsen, Head of Price and Product.

The Consumer Council Think tested the dog insurance from Lærerstandens Brandforsikring, one of the brands which belongs to LB Forsikring. The dog insurance is the same from Lærerstandens Brandforsikring, Runa, and Bauta (all brands of LB Forsikring), so the quality stamp can be applied to all LB Forsikring’s dog insurance cover.

In addition to ‘Best in Test’ on dog insurance, LB Forsikring also holds the ‘Best in Test’ stamp on electric car insurance, house insurance, travel insurance, accident insurance, and insurance packages. These accolades recognise the company for the quality and affordability of its insurance products, which are evaluated based on coverage, price, and customer service.
