Argentinian ICMIF member San Cristóbal Seguros has been recognised by the Marketing and Communication Awards given by INESE Insurance School and MKSite for its project “Sitios Seguros”. The award ceremony took place in Madrid, within the framework of the XVI Marketing and Communication Meeting in the Insurance Sector (#MCSA20), which was held from 20 to 22 October and broadcast virtually. INESE is a company based in Spain that brings together professionals from the insurance sector and offers them different products and services to help boost their results and professional career.
The INESE International Marketing and Communication Awards recognise the most outstanding campaigns of the previous year in the insurance sector. They not only reward creativity or impact, but also evaluate the objectives and notoriety achieved, as well as the innovation and capacity of the campaign to transmit its message to audiences. The aim of the awards is to support, disseminate and strengthen good practices in the sector. For the first time, the competition was open to service companies and/or suppliers from the insurance sector in Latin America.
San Cristóbal competed in the “Best customer-focused campaign” category alongside important companies from different parts of the world and was the winner for its project “Sitios Seguros” or “Safe Sites” in English. This tool, created in 2019, is a technological development that allows an insurance intermediary to generate their own website in a few minutes without requiring previous knowledge of website creation. Each site is set up in about the same amount of time needed for the creation of a profile on a social network.
“We are very proud to receive this award for Sitios Seguros, a project that allowed us to include the production channel in the company’s digital transformation. Today, more than 1,000 Intermediaries from our network have the possibility to create and manage their own website, and this is free and customisable. They are able to channel all their sales directly from there, in addition to building their own brand,” said Nicolás Renzi, Chief Digital Officer of Grupo San Cristóbal.
Benefits include a responsive design, an integrated quote engine and contact forms for email and social networks. These are totally free for intermediaries, who can customise the sites with their image, logo, colours, etc., with co-branding with San Cristóbal Seguros. This way, they can have everything they need to self-manage their online sales opportunities and attract new customers. Among other things, the tool encourages greater communication with the end customer, offers more products and allows them to appear in Google searches.
In addition to using this technology, the advantage of Sitios Seguros is constant training and advice from the entire digital marketing team of San Cristóbal Seguros on how the intermediaries can manage sales and improve their digital presence, all of which are key to the continuity and success of the insurance industry.
