In December 2021, Sancor Seguros’ business incubator CITES Impulsa was recognised in the 10th edition of the Premios Conciencia 2021 award ceremony. The Premios Conciencia (Conscience Awards) recognise companies for their actions to generate a positive change in the wellbeing of people and the environment; to achieve a more inclusive and sustainable society. The companies and initiatives which receive an award reflect the contribution of these companies and the positive impact they have had on society.

The creation of CITES Impulsa, Sancor Seguros’ triple impact incubator, in 2020 was recognised In the Business category of the awards and was awarded second place in the “Diversity and Inclusion” category.

CITES Impulsa was born in 2020 as an incubation programme for entrepreneurs, SMEs and cooperatives to meet the demands of a society that is starting to value companies not only for the products or services they offer, but also for their responsible production methods.

The aim of CITES Impulsa is to facilitate innovative developments with economic, social and environmental impact that solve real problems. Likewise, it was created to promote synergy between the world of technology and science with that of sustainable business and sustainable production, to contribute to the transformation of Argentina’s production capabilities.

The incubator aims to enhance the capacities of the entrepreneurial ecosystem and strengthen it, giving it a strong federal sense, promoting the entrepreneurial culture throughout Argentina and the progress of its communities.

“In 2022 we have the challenge of knowing and connecting with more than 500 projects. With that objective in mind, we launched our second edition of the incubation programme called << Impulsa Futuro >>, a call that will remain open until 15 February on our website”, said Pablo Mazza, Manager of CITES Impulsa.

Sancor Seguros has been actively promoting an entrepreneurial culture throughout the Argentina since the creation of its Centre for Technological, Business and Social Innovation (CITES), which became a relevant actor in the entrepreneurial and high-tech ecosystem in a short time after its creation. With this new initiative, Sancor Seguros offers another business and innovation platform in Argentina, so that all people who want to undertake can do so with support in training, mentoring and financing.
