According to a recent report from Sustainable Brand Index™, consumers in Denmark have once again said that ICMIF member Sygeforsikringen “danmark” is the brand among insurance and pension companies in Denmark that they perceive to act most sustainably in 2023. In the overall industry list, Sygeforsikringen “danmark” sits at 14th place out of a total of 243 companies listed.
“We are of course very pleased that Danish consumers feel that we in “danmark” behave properly and act sustainably. We endeavour to do the same in everything we do”, says Allan Luplau, CEO of Sygeforsikringen “danmark”.
“We certainly don’t feel like the frontrunners in the field of sustainability. But we do our best to continuously live up to the expectations that our more than 2.7 million members have of us as a responsible organisation,” Luplau concluded.
The Sustainable Brand Index annually surveys consumers’ perception of the sustainability of 1,600 brands in 36 industries among 80,000 consumers in eight countries. Since 2013, in Denmark, 9,500 Danish consumers have participated in the survey and 233 different brands in 23 different industries have been assessed.
This is the 10th year in a row that Sygeforsikringen “danmark” has been recognised as the winner in the industry and the insurance and pension company category.
