The IMA Group launches new mobility platform to help motorists find the right repair garage

The IMA Group (Inter Mutuelles Assistance) has selected a technological solution from idGarages.com to offer its shareholders and their members a platform for comparing car repair quotes and putting them in touch with garages. French mutual Macif is the first insurer to benefit through its Macif Service Entretien Auto portal.

Keen to meet the challenges of mobility and the demands for increasingly personalised customer relationships, the IMA Group, one of ICMIF’s French members, has developed a platform which simplifies the maintenance and repair process of vehicles for its shareholders, some of the major players in the social economy.

Following a review of existing solutions on the market, IMA chose the technological solution offered by idGarages.com based on the diversity of its services; its ease of use for motorists; and its ability to adapt to customer needs.

Each shareholder of the IMA Group has the possibility to create his own user interface using the idGarages.com technology according to their preferences. The objective is to support each motorist in their search for garages and in their requests for online quotes including:

  • The ability to make appointments 24/7 in a simple way
  • A reassuring proposal based on a large network of 4,300 garages
  • The guarantee of paying the right price with the calculation of the quote in real time and the possibility of comparing garages by price and distance.

Wishing to offer its members the ability to better control their vehicle repair or maintenance budget, French mutual Macif is the first insurer to deploy this solution through its Macif Service Entretien Auto platform.
