ICMIF member Vaudoise Assurances (Switzerland) is the only independent private insurance company with a decision-making centre in French-speaking Switzerland.

In line with its mutualist strategy, each year it pays out part of its profits by way of a premium rebates to its policyholders. For 2023-2024, it will redistribute CHF 43 million to its policyholders with liability and household insurance policies that concluded in 2022 or earlier in the form of a 20% reduction on their 2022 premiums.

Since 2011, the company has redistributed more than CHF 360 million to its policyholders. Profit redistribution is also at the heart of its new national communication campaign. The campaign gives pride of place to the amount of profit it has redistributed in the form of a party balloon, thus becoming their new symbol of redistribution.

For member-only strategic content on the cooperative/mutual insurance sector, ICMIF members have exclusive access to a range of online resources through the ICMIF Knowledge Hub.
